The project will modernize the terminal with enhancements that will increase shipping throughput and capacity, as well as improve current handling and processing procedures.

The export terminal is expected to be operational by May 2015.

The expansion includes an additional 20,000 tonnes of grain storage and a rail car handling increase to 100.
