GUELPH, ONTARIO, CANADA — Walinga, Inc. and Customvac Australia Pty Ltd announced on Jan. 19 the acquisition of the Customvac Australia business based in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia by Walinga Australia Pty Ltd.

Customvac Australia is in pneumatic conveying technologies as well as feed transportation equipment for the agricultural sector throughout Australia and New Zealand. 

Walinga, Inc. and Customvac Australia have a long-standing relationship since 1983, and through their combined efforts have established Customvac Australia as the recognized and leading brand in the agricultural industry throughout the region, the companies said. 

With the acquisition, Walinga intends to build on the existing sales and service team, to market, support and service Walinga and related products by Customvac Australia. The current locations in Queensland and Western Australia are being maintained. With over 60 years of manufacturing and servicing experience, Walinga said it is positioned to support and expand the existing customer base by adding additional value through enhanced engineering and manufacturing support from the Walinga Group of companies.
