David Hightower, a founding principal of The Hightower Report, will speak on The Intersection of Geopolitics, Global Trade and Agriculture.

Evelyn Browning Garriss, a leading climatologist and author of The Browning Newsletter for the past 25 years, she stresses how significantly influenced people are by the climate in which they exist, and therefore places much importance on understanding the past and present conditions of climate as the impetus for advantageous change in the future.
At the Summit, Browning Garriss will address the challenges and opportunities that the climate presents for participants across the oilseed and grains value chains, examining the short- and long-term natural factors that are likely to shape weather, crops and investments around the globe.
Erik Norland, executive director and senior economist of the CME Group, is responsible for generating economic analysis on global financial markets by identifying emerging trends, evaluating economic factors and forecasting their impact on CME Group and the company’s business strategy, and upon those who engage in commodity markets. He will present at the Summit on the impact of economic and financial trends on the global agriculture sector.
