ASSUMPTION, ILLINOIS, U.S. — GSI’s InterSystems brand is expanding into the material handling market for dry fertilizer and other dry crop nutrients, providing complete equipment packages for fertilizer terminals and agricultural co-ops, the company announced on March 3.
The InterSystems new product line will support a full-site fertilizer blending process, including truck and rail receiving, ingredient storage, truck loading, open tripper belt conveyor for commodity flat storage, blending and facility design and layout.
Product offerings include conveyors, bucket elevators, distributors and towers, welded bins, conditioners and vertical and horizontal blenders, all produced in industry-standard stainless steel. Brend King, director of Adjacent Markets for InterSystems, said the brand’s engineered solutions can be customized to fit any fertilizer terminal project, providing customers with choice and flexibility to meet their specific needs, and delivered with industry-leading lead times.
“From design through manufacturing to delivery, InterSystems’ collaborative process ensures the highest- quality products and efficient project coordination,” King said. “We will also meet the logistical challenge of delivering equipment on-site when appropriate for installation, and offer commissioning and start-up assistance.”
