In the next several days, the government will introduce an offer for additional grain export quota distribution, almost all surplus carry-over stocks.
According to data of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, the surplus (excluding just distributed volumes) is estimated at the level of 5 million tonnes. As of Jan. 7, grain carry-over stocks will also total the level of 5 million tonnes, which is almost at the level of Jan. 7, 2010 carry-over stocks. That is without taking into account the possible incoming balance of the 2010-11 grain harvest.
