OMAHA, NEBRASKA, U.S. — During Exchange 2014 in Omaha, Nebraska, U.S., from Feb. 22-25, the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) recognized several long-time members of the association.
The GEAPS Associates Board gave special recognition to 50-year-member Jack Bussell, Kansas City Chapter, for his enthusiastic spirit in representing GEAPS throughout the years. Associates Board 2013-14 President Scott Chant recalled Bussell’s many contributions to GEAPS including singing the U.S. and Canadian national anthems at GEAPS’ breakfast meetings.
“He inspired us then and his continued passion for GEAPS 50 years later inspires us now,” Chant said.
GEAPS recognized an additional four members for 50 years of membership:

Also during Exchange 2014, 26 GEAPS members received silver pins in recognition of their 25 years of membership and participating in the knowledge sharing that fuels the grain operations industry.
