SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — In its Dec. 15 harvest update, GrainCorp said it has received 6,395,500 tonnes of grains at its receivel sites through Oct. 1.
It also said welcome rains were reported in central Queensland. Activity is winding down in New South Wales, which has reported 3.8 million tonnes of grain received. Grain is still coming in in the Cunningar and Junee regions, GrainCorp said.
In Victoria, harvest is still underway around Natimuk and Lilimur. Total receivals in Victoria are at just over 2 million tonnes, the company said.
