WALLACEBURG, ONTARIO, CANADA — Lambton Conveyor Limited announced in October that it has hired Nick Johnson as director of global business development for Europe, the Middle East and African markets.
Johnson has more than 10 years of experience in international product development, and applying a strong expertise in data-driven, long-term strategic planning.
Prior to joining Lambton, Johnson was a sales engineer for a Lambton representative/millwright in the U.S., where he led system designs and installation methods. He managed the firm's system design from 2-D layouts to 3-D modeling CAD. He was involved in exploring different erection companies to complete the different stages of project completion. He managed a diverse project management range, including marketing, system layout, product feasibility profiles and customer satisfaction measurement.
Previous to this, Johnson had various positions as a mechanical engineer, dealing with product design, product application, customer service and project management, working with manufacturing facilities in Asia and customers throughout Europe.
Johnson has a bachelor’s of Science degree in mechanical engineering, with a minor in mathematics and an associate’s of science degree.
