REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA — Agrium, Inc. said on Sept. 5 that it has received approval from the Canadian Competition Bureau to acquire certain of Viterra's crop input assets in Western Canada.
The transaction is part of Glencore’s acquisition of Viterra, announced in March 2012. Glencore agreed to sell certain assets of Viterra to Agrium Inc. and Richardson International Ltd.
