WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, CANADA — The Richardson Foundation announced on July 2 that it has made a donation of $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Floods Fund. The Fund will assist Red Cross teams in providing the basic needs to flood victims, as well as offering inquiry services and supporting evacuee shelters.
“The devastation caused by the recent floods which have affected hundreds of thousands of individuals in communities across Alberta, including many of our personnel, is absolutely staggering,” said Hartley Richardson, president and chief executive officer of James Richardson & Sons, Limited and a Trustee of the Richardson Foundation. “Our thoughts are of those who have experienced indescribable loss, and we extend every good wish as the rebuilding continues.”
The Richardson Foundation is the giving arm of James Richardson & Sons, Limited and Affiliated Companies across Canada.
