STANLEY, WISCONSIN, U.S. — Ace Ethanol, LLC shareholder/members approved the purchase of the Utica Energy Ethanol Plant and Utica Industries for the sum of $16.5 million at a special members meeting on July 26.
The purchased ethanol plant is located near Oshkosh, Wisconsin, U.S., and will produce about 52 million gallons of ethanol per year. The ethanol plant will be renamed Fox River Valley Ethanol, LLC and it will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Ace Ethanol.
The newly purchased plant is expected to be fully operational by corn harvest time this fall, said President and General Manager Neal Kemmet.
