WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S. — The North American Millers’ Association (NAMA) announced on Dec. 11 that Vice-President Jim Bair has accepted the position of president and chief executive officer of the U.S. Apple Association (USApple).
USApple is the association that represents all segments of the apple industry value chain, including growers, marketers and processors.
“Jim has been a dedicated and successful staff member of NAMA for 24 years. His knowledge and expertise in grain milling has been a valuable asset to NAMA and the industry,” said NAMA President and Chief Executive Officer Jim McCarthy said. He added that the industry wishes Bair the best of luck in his new position.
Bair will begin his new position with USApple on Dec. 30.
