QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA — The 2014 Australasian Milling Conference (AMC) is planned May 25-27, 2014, at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre, Queensland, Australia, in conjunction with PIX2014.
The conference for feed and flour millers is planned biannually in Australia. The 2014 conference theme is "Feed & Food in the Asian Century." It will include a technical milling program along with trade displays and special functions.
Keynote speakers include Frank Dunshea, a professor at the University of Melbourne, who will discuss “Innovation & production of food products for China”; Rob Cumine, Coles, who will speak about retailers and supply chain management; Franz Waxenecker, Biomin, Austria, director of development department, who will discuss the new standard ISO14040 - life cycle assessment.
