WESTCHESTER, ILLINOIS, U.S. — Ingredion Incorporated announced on Oct. 16 the appointment of Victoria Reich to its board of directors, effective Nov. 1.
Reich currently serves on the boards of H&R Block, Inc. and Ecolab Inc., a global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services. Formerly she was senior vice-president and chief financial officer (CFO) of United Stationers Inc., a wholesale distributor of business products, and group president of Brunswick Corporation’s European Group and senior vice-president, CFO of Brunswick, a global leader in recreation and lifestyle brands.
“Victoria brings a wealth of financial and international business leadership experience to her position as director. Her strategic insight, analytical approach and financial discipline will be invaluable as we continue to drive organic growth, expand our portfolio and broaden our geographic footprint,” said Ilene Gordon, Ingredion chairman, president and chief executive officer.
With Reich’s appointment, concurrent with that of Rhonda Jordan, Ingredion’s board will include four female directors, comprising one-third of the board. “These appointments are consistent with our strategy and commitment to diversity among our leadership and at all levels of the organization,” Gordon said.
In addition to her experience at United Stationers and Brunswick, Reich spent 17 years at General Electric Company in various financial management positions. She has a bachelor’s of science degree in applied mathematics and economics from Brown University.
