Chicago CFO of the Year is awarded in five categories: large public company, mid-size public company, large private company, mid-size private company and not-for-profit organization. Beebe won the award in the large public company category. Award recipients are determined by a four-member committee of independent judges, who are finance professionals in industry and academia.

Beebe has been with Ingredion Incorporated, formerly Corn Products International, since 1980 and has held a variety positions with increasing responsibility in audit, planning and analysis, and treasury. Currently her responsibilities include global management of financial reporting, procurement, information systems, insurance, investor relations, tax and treasury.
