SALINA, KANSAS, U.S. — Vortex announced the appointment of Lyndon Flower as business development manager.
Flower will work in the company’s U.S. and Canada divisions, with a focus on working with manufacturers’ representatives, regional and territory sales managers and industry specialists.
“It is rare to find someone so well-known in our industry with as much direct experience as Lyndon has,” said Brian Burmaster, vice-president of sales at Vortex. “He has been active in sales, management and engineering for a multinational company for more than 20 years. His skillset will be a major asset to our company, and we are very excited to have him joining our team.”
Flower was vice-president and general manager at A&J Mixing International for 18 years until the company was acquired by Smico in 2015. Since then, he has been focused on sales and marketing efforts for the A&J Mixing line.
“Vortex is a company I’ve admired for a very long time,” Flower said. “Through Vortex, I have found a new passion and excitement for the work that I do. The future of this company is bright, and I’m excited to help guide its path.”
