SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA, U.S. — Tri-States Grain Conditioning, Inc. (TSGC) announced the hiring of Martin Tubby to lead the international sales division.
Tubby will be responsible for developing international sales growth, specifically in Europe, Asia, and Africa through business development activities. In addition, he will be managing TSGC’s dealer network in North Dakota and Minnesota.
Tubby was born and raised near Norwich, England. After leaving high school, he went to Easton Agricultural College participating in several programs surrounding production farming. During the latter part of his college career, he studied at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. After a year in the United States, he returned to the U.K. and began working for Drayton Farms, Ltd. from 1988 to 2001, working his way up to assistant farm manager.
He returned to UMC in 2001 and received associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in agricultural science with an emphasis in power and machinery.
After college, Tubby had additional farm management roles in Saudi Arabia and the United States before switching career paths to enter into commercial grain storage sales and temperature and moisture management.
