ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – The 7th International Dietary Fibre Conference will address all sources of dietary fiber and their impact on food structure, the human gut microbiome and health, during the event planned June 4-6, 2018, in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The event brings together nutritional and consumer science with food technology, product development, analysis and legal aspects. Scientists, regulators and industry representatives attend the event.
Attendees will hear reviews by speakers and updates on new developments in major international projects.
Specific topics include fibers, fermentation and the gut microbiome; fibers and metabolic health; fiber, gut function and immune health; characterization of fibers and perspectives for applications; fibers in foods, impact on product structure and on health; trends in regulatory affairs; fiber, consumer perception and well-being; and fiber intake.
