MANHATTAN, KANSAS, U.S. – Kansas State University's (KSU) International Grains Program Institute (IGP) is offering a trainingcourseabout grain quality and handling. Two sessions of the same course will be held at IGP Institute Conference Center in Manhattan, Kansas, U.S.


The first session is planned for Jan. 9-13, 2017, and the second is Jan. 30 -Feb. 3, 2017. The registration deadline for both courses is Dec. 16.

Included in these courses will be presentations from Carl Reed, IGP Institute grain storage specialist, and other industry professionals. The trainings will feature classroom discussions and workshops. Topics to be covered include personnel management, grain quality assessment, grain handling equipment, grain drying, grain operations costs, grain inventory management, grain receiving and shipping, grain condition monitoring, grain aeration principles, grain aeration strategies and grain fumigation.
