MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, US — Registration is open for the 2025 Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) Exchange scheduled for Feb. 22-25 in Kansas City, Missouri, US.
GEAPS Exchange serves as a cornerstone for the grain handling and processing community to connect, share insights and shape the future of agriculture. With more than 45 hours of education sessions spanning every facet of grain handling and storage, attendees will have opportunities to learn, network and collaborate with peers from around the world. New to this year’s event will be an educational track focusing on grain processing.
“GEAPS Exchange 2025 brings the first-ever grain processing track that will focus on educational and technical opportunities throughout the grain processing industry, with special emphasis on ethanol production and soybean crushing,” said John Caupert, executive director, GEAPS. “With the transformational shifts going on throughout the agriculture industry, GEAPS Exchange is the must-attend conference of the year. GEAPS Exchange has something for everyone.”
The education program kicks off with Pamela Barnum as the keynote presenter to share her message on tactical influence. With more than 20 years in the criminal justice system as an undercover police officer and federal prosecutor, her field-tested strategies will challenge leaders to close the gap between intentions and impact. The Idea Exchange Program follows, featuring new products and ideas from industry peers.
More than 400 exhibitors will showcase their products and services in the Expo Hall during the Exchange. Sessions inside the Expo Hall include a grain entrapment rescue demo and interactive, small-group presentations on the four education tracks — processing, safety, employee development and grain operations. Admission to the Expo Hall is free for GEAPS members, and lunch is provided for all attendees and exhibitors.
GEAPS International President Austin Carpenter, Clear Creek & Associates, said attending the Exchange “is the single best way to network and connect with industry partners.”
“Each year I see new exhibitors with technology from parallel industries offering solutions to our problems,” Carpenter said.
