ABERDEEN, SOUTH DAKOTA, US — Agtegra Cooperative has hired Jared Hanis as vice president of operations – fleet services, responsible for the cooperative’s trucking fleet, innovation centers, and truck and auto centers. 

Hanis brings 17 years of extensive experience in fleet management and maintenance within the mining, oil, gas and distribution service sectors to the role, Agtegra said in its Oct. 23 announcement. He has worked for companies across various industries, including Marathon Petroleum Corp., and most recently, Casey’s General Store in Ankeny, Iowa, US, where he led fleet operations to ensure safety, efficiency and reliability.

“Jared brings extensive experience to Agtegra, which will enhance our ability to serve our member-owners,” said Mike Rizor, chief operating officer, Agtegra. “We are very excited to have him join and welcome him to the team.”

Hanis holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration and has earned a strategic leadership certification from the University of Utah with an emphasis on strategy and operational excellence.
