CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, US – ADM was recently recognized as a winner of the 2024 Sustainability Leadership Award presented by the Business Intelligence Group (BIG). The BIG Sustainability Awards program, now in its ninth year, recognizes companies, projects, people and products of all sizes across various industries.

This year's program received submissions highlighting a global dedication to environmental responsibility and innovation.

In July, ADM announced that is expanding its regenerative agriculture program with a goal of enrolling 3.5 million acres in 2024 and 5 million acres globally by 2025. Global enrollment in 2023 included more than 28,000 growers and 2.8 million acres with new programs launched in Europe and Latin America. 

The company also recently announced it is offering fully verified, segregated and traceable soybean meal and oil to meet the requirements of European customers as EU deforestation regulations take effect on Dec. 30. In March, ADM launched a fully traceable North American soybean program called re:source, which enrolled almost 5,300 farmers encompassing more than 4.6 million acres across 15 US states for the 2024 season.
