VILLARTA DE SAN JUAN, SPAIN — Symaga recently completed a project with Avicon to improve grain storage at its feed mill in Spain.
Avicon built its silo, manufactured by Symaga, more than 30 years ago. To improve grain storage with better preservation and unloading, elevated metal cones were installed inside the existing silos.
The inside perforated cones provide ventilation of the floor and allows without civil works a 100% gravity discharge of its content. In addition to the assembly of the inside cone, the cylinder has been repaired with the installation of new body sheets, stairs, and door inspection have been added for access to the silos.
Avicon has benefited from Symaga’s assembly service on several occasions, consolidating a service that is becoming stronger within Spain and making it possible to offer it internationally in the medium term.
