ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA, US — Registration is open for the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA)-Kansas State University 500: Fundamentals in Feed Manufacturing course, a five-week, self-paced online feed manufacturing course.
The course, which starts on Aug. 6 and ends Sept. 10, will provide participants with in-depth understanding of feed manufacturing. Topics include the process flow from particle size reduction to batching and mixing, to conditioning and pelleting, boilers, post-pellet systems, packaging and loadout and maintenance.
Participants may work at their own pace and engage in online discussions about the presented material, which is designed to meet the training needs of feed industry employees and professionals. The lectures for this course are available as narrated PowerPoint presentations that are available for instant view or for downloading.
