LOCHEM, NETHERLANDS — Marloes Roetgerink has been appointed to the ForFarmers executive board in the role of chief financial officer (CFO). She received shareholder approval during the annual general meeting on May 28 and will begin her new position on June 1.
The term of her appointment will end at the annual general meeting in 2028, when she is eligible for reappointment for a term of four years, the company said.
The CFO position had been vacant since the departure of Roeland Tjebbes on Dec. 31, 2023. Hans Kerkhoven has served as interim CFO since that time.
Roetgerink has an academic background in industrial engineering and management. After she graduated from the University of Twente and subsequently qualified as a registered controller at the Free University of Amsterdam, she had senior financial positions for the past 10 years at Royal FrieslandCampina and Heineken NV.
ForFarmers provides complete innovative feed solutions to the livestock farming industry with activities in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom and Poland and annual sales of about 9 million tonnes of animal feed in Europe.
