KAUNAS, LITHUANIA — BoMill AB has received a follow-up order from Baltijos Javai for the supply of six additional sorting units for the BoMill InSight purchased last year.
Based in Kaunas, Lithuania, Baltijos Javai provides processing and trading capabilities as well as consultancy services for the barley value chain. The order was valued at €260,000 ($282,114).
Last September, the company ordered BoMill InSight with two sorting units for a value of €270,000 to optimize malting barley in the region. In partnership with Viking Malt, one of the top 10 largest malt producers in the world, the equipment is installed at the malt house site in Panevėžys, Lithuania.
Following a few months of use, Baltijos Javai has decided to purchase six additional sorting units to upgrade the existing installation and reach the maximum 15 tph sorting capacity offered by BoMill InSight.
Due to the modular design, the six sorting units can be added on the frame already equipped with the two units from the previous order. Delivery is scheduled for the second quarter of this year.
“We are excited about this agreement, which is another milestone for BoMill InSight,” said Andreas Jeppsson, chief executive officer of BoMill AB. “This capacity upgrade is a repeat order confirming our customer recognizes the reliable performance and strong return on investment of our technology. We look forward to further supporting Baltijos Javai and Viking Malt in their development.”
