TOPSFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS, US — Dates have been announced for the 2024 Global AgInvesting (GAI) series of international conferences and the annual Women in Agribusiness (WIA) Summit.
GAI will take place in New York City, New York, US, in April; Tokyo, Japan, in October; and London, England, in December. WIA will be in Denver, Colorado, US, in September.
Additional WIA initiatives are offered as well, from year-round MeetUps to student scholarships to event partnerships and membership opportunities. Also, Ag Clubs are held countrywide throughout the year, featuring a luncheon and presentation with Q&A, and ample networking time.
GAI, now in its 16th year, provides investors and agribusiness operators with actionable, strategic market intelligence in areas such as farmland and timberland assets, private equity opportunities, climate-smart investing, food production and agriculture technologies.
The planned events:
- Global AgInvesting, April 15-17, New York City, NY, www.gai-nyc.com
- Global AgInvesting Asia, Oct. 17-18, Tokyo, www.gai-asia.com
- Global AgInvesting Europe, Dec. 2-3, London, www.gai-eu-com
“The networking (at GAI) is fantastic,” said Jonah Kolb, Moore & Warner Ag Group. “As usual, pretty much everybody within the ag investing world on a global basis is here in some way, shape or form.”
The WIA Summit, now in its 13th year, has nurtured a recognized agribusiness community where the sharing of business knowledge and industry innovations is at the forefront of helping women excel in the sector, organizers said. Attendees benefit from presentations on the latest trends, outlooks, and innovations in ag, and enjoy unparalleled networking opportunities with influential executives, as well as spot-on professional development.
More than 1,000 attendees, 200 companies and 65 speakers are expected to participate in the event Sept. 24-26 in Denver.
“This is the one ‘can’t miss’ conference of the year because of the focus on empowering women through varying topics covering everything from personal to technical development,” said Erika Lippincott, Nationwide Agribusiness. “I don’t know any other place you can get this much relevant content packed into a few days.”
