ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, US — Bunge's group holding company is now a Swiss corporation, Bunge Global SA, with its registered office in Geneva, Switzerland, having completed its previously announced incorporation move from Bermuda on Nov. 1.

With its operational headquarters remaining in St. Louis, Missouri, US, Bunge continues to be listed exclusively on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “BG,” and Bunge Global SA will continue Bunge’s normal course of global business.

Bunge has about 23,000 employees working across approximately 300 facilities in more than 40 countries. It is the global leader in oilseed processing and a leading producer and supplier of specialty plant-based oils and fats.

Bunge is in the process of completing its $18 billion acquisition of Viterra Ltd., another top agribusiness company, announced in June. Viterra is backed by Switzerland-based global commodities company Glencore. Bunge shareholders on Oct. 5 voted in favor of the company’s acquisition of Viterra, approving the issuance of 65,611,831 common shares, par value of 1¢ per share.

The merger with Viterra is expected to close in mid-2024, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.

Bunge’s board of directors on Oct. 31 also declared a cash dividend of $0.6625 per common share. The dividend will be paid out of the company’s capital contribution reserves and is payable on March 1, 2024, to shareholders of record on Feb. 16, 2024.

In Bunge’sthird-quarter earningsreport, the company’s net income increased to $1.63 billion for the nine months ended Sept. 30, up 28% from $1.27 billion for the same period a year ago.
