CAIRO, EGYPT — With its rich heritage and milling expertise, Egypt is a fitting location for the 33rd Annual International Association of Operative Millers’ (IAOM) Mideast & Africa Conference & Expo.

“Thank you for choosing Egypt as the host country for this remarkable gathering,” said Walid Diab Ghanem, the 2023 conference chairman and chairman of Egyptian Miller Mills. “Let us make the 33rd Annual IAOM MEA Conference & Expo an outstanding success, celebrating both the achievements of our industry and the wonders of Egypt.”

The event, which is scheduled for Nov. 12-15 in Cairo, includes keynote addresses, technical discussions, awards and an expo. Last year, more than 600 people attended the event in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Africa.

“I am thrilled to witness the exchange of knowledge, collaborative efforts and innovative solutions that will benefit our industry for years to come as the IAOM MEA Conference and Expo has long been recognized as a premier gathering of industry experts, professionals and thought leaders in the field of milling,” Ghanem said.
