MANHATTAN, KANSAS, US — The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) in partnership with Kansas State University is presenting “AFIA 500: Fundamentals of Feed Manufacturing” distance education program from Aug. 1 to Sept. 5.
The five-week online program provides an in-depth understanding of the feed manufacturing process, while allowing participants to work at their own pace and engage in online discussions with other students and university instructors.
The course will cover the process flow from particle size reduction, batching and mixing, conditioning and pelleting, boilers, post-pellet systems, packaging and loadout and maintenance.
Program fees are $499 for AFIA members and $685 for nonmembers. The deadline to register is Wednesday, July 26. Visit the course website for more information and to register.
