ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA, US — Mary Kaul-Hottinger, executive vice president and chief human resources officer for CHS, Inc., has been named to the board of Together We Grow, a consortium committed to improving and expanding diversity in the agriculture and food sector.
Together We Grow is composed of agribusiness and food companies, higher education institutions, non-governmental organizations and government agencies. The nine-member board of directors is focused on shaping the long-term strategy of the organization to ensure the greatest impact toward its mission and maximizing value for its members.
At CHS, a global agribusiness and the largest farmer-owned cooperative in the United States, Kaul-Hottinger is responsible for setting direction and strategy to achieve key company priorities with a focus on attracting, developing and retaining high-performing and diverse talent. She also is responsible for the company’s community giving and employee volunteerism.
Kaul-Hottinger has more than 36 years of experience in human resources. She joined CHS in 2018 after 11 years at Ecolab as vice president of human resources for Ecolab’s global businesses. Prior to joining Ecolab in 2007, Kaul-Hottinger served in human resource leadership roles supporting operating divisions at General Mills and Pillsbury. She also held human resources roles at Securian Financial, formerly Minnesota Life.
Kaul-Hottinger received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota, US.
