TOPSFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS, US — This year’s Unconventional Ag conference will focus on sustainable production methods and procurement systems for grains and oilseeds, vegetable oils and plant-based proteins.
In its ninth year, the event is planned Dec. 12-13 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas in Dallas, Texas, US. It brings together stakeholders and industry experts from across the entire ag value chain to bring awareness to the advances, developments and value-added opportunities affecting the oilseed and grain sectors.
Some of the agenda topics for this year’s event includes an ingredient buyer outlook panel that will discuss today’s needs and priorities from consumer packaged goods, foodservice and feed vantage points.
A session on regenerative and carbon capture will cover the current standards and practical approaches in use today. Another session will examine if cellular and plant-based proteins have peaked or if there are even more opportunities.
A procurement best practices session will look at how have improvements to commodity sourcing and risk management practices kept the sector in motion and what key points are essential to providing smooth and profitable operations for end user organizations.
