ATLANTIC, IOWA, US — Elite Octane, LLC, a privately held company that owns a dry mill ethanol plant near Atlantic, Iowa, US, has announced plans to expand its corn receiving and storage capacity.
Elite said it will increase storage capacity to 8 million bushels from 4 million bushels and raise receiving capacity to 90,000 bushels per hour from 60,000 bushels per hour. The expansion also will include two truck probes with three inbound lanes and the addition of two inbound scales.
Construction is underway and is expected to be completed later this year, the company said.
Elite began operations at the Atlantic site in July 2018.
