VILLARTA DE SAN JUAN, SPAIN — Symaga is in the process of completing a storage project for City Group in Rupshi, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
At the beginning of the year, Symaga manufactured a total of 49 storage silos with total capacity of 406,059 cubic meters. Symaga is now supervising the assembly process.
Bangladesh is one of the fastest growing markets. Symaga has developed projects for some of the main industrial and agribusiness companies since 2012.
In 2016, Symaga consolidated its footprint in this Asian country with two important projects. A new storage plant with 59,452 cubic meters for Akij flour mill in Dhaka, where it supplied four flat bottom silos model SBH2444/26. It also developed the extension phase with three flat bottom silos SBH2750/25.
In the same year, Symaga delivered another project for City Auto Rice, a rice mill that belongs to City Group, with a total scope of 13 hopper silos (models SCE610/14T60, SCE610/13T60, SCE1070/17T45TE), with a combined capacity of 16,037 cubic meters.
In 2018, Symaga completed a grain terminal for Bashundhara Ltd. This facility was built to enhance wheat trade in the country. In the same year, Ar Secialized Auto Rice Mill Pvt Ltd relied on Symaga for a new silo SCE0687/11T45 to store paddy rice. Bangladesh has a total 648,269 cubic meters of built storage that has been supplied by Symaga.
