SHEFFIELD, IOWA — John Teeple has been named chief operating officer of Sukup Manufacturing Co., a family-owned and operated manufacturer of grain storage, drying, and handling equipment, and steel buildings.
Prior to joining Sukup, Teeple was head of worldwide business development, agriculture solutions, at Amazon Web Services. Earlier, he was senior vice president of agriculture at DTN. He also spent 23 years at John Deere in leadership positions in manufacturing, R&D, strategy and technology.

Teeple received a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from Iowa State University, and a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
