ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA, US — The National Grain and Feed Foundation (NGFA) has partnered with the Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) student group to offer a new scholarship.
The NGFA Foundation provides support to MANRRS student members who are engaged in undergraduate or graduate studies in the grain, feed or processing industry or a closely related field at an accredited college or university or to student members pursuing a degree from a technical school focusing on grain handling, feed manufacturing or grain processing facility operations.
“Through the Foundation’s mission to promote education and awareness of our industry, we are pleased to engage young people to make a career in agriculture and agribusiness as well as to encourage diversity and foster inclusive environments within our industry,” said Greg Beck, chairman of the NGFA’s Foundation Board of Trustees. “We are honored to have this opportunity to support MANRRS students as they pursue careers in agriculture and thankful to the generous Foundation donors whose contributions have made this possible. I look forward to partnering with MANRRS to support students as they achieve their goals and contribute to the highest standards of education pertinent to the grain, feed and processing industry.”
