ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA, US — The American Feed Industry (AFIA) is planning to host a virtual, free feed education program.
It will be held in conjunction with the International Production & Processing Expo Marketplace Week and update attendees on recent changes within several federal agencies and provide an outlook for the animal food industry in 2021.
The two-hour event will be held Jan. 28, 2021, and is geared toward animal food facility managers, operations and mill personnel looking to learn about latest regulatory requirements impacting their business.
The agenda also includes updates on what a new administration means for regulatory, policy and leadership changes within the Food and Drug Administration, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency.
The AFIA also will introduce the reorganized Feed Facility of the Year program as well as a discussion on new education tools for feed manufacturers, including the updated online Feed Manufacturing Technology.
