NIVELLES, BELGIUM — In the last two years, VIGAN has made three substantial investments at its production facility in Nivelles, south of Brussels, Belgium.

These investments included increasing the erection and testing area by 2,000 square meters; new ICT infrastructure combining the 3D CAO and database with the new ERP-Microsoft AX system; and new laser and bending machine with automated feeding racks for steel plates.

These major investments will bring benefit to the customers in terms of traceability and quality in production, VIGAN said.

“It will also safeguard VIGAN’s position in this very challenging and demanding market,” the company said.

Since its beginning in 1968, VIGAN has been committed to the local production in Belgium of its well-known pneumatic ship-unloaders.

The company’s philosophy was always sound: to keep the entire process under the same roof, to ensure quality, reliability and offer its customers aftersales service for the long run.

Research and development, production, sales and after-sales are all located in Nivelles.
