LENEXA, KANSAS, US — Due to ongoing safety concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) the International Association of Operative Millers’ Central District leadership decided to cancel its district joint meeting this year.

The Central, Wheat State and Texoma districts was originally scheduled to meet at the end of July in Branson, Missouri, US.

“The ongoing situation regarding COVID-19, and various company-imposed travel restrictions on employees make it impracticable to effectively hold the event,” said Mike Breason, Central District secretary/treasurer, and Pat Eberle, Central District director, in a letter to members. “We will continue to evaluate the situation and keep you updated about any future district activities, including the possibility of a golf outing and the annual winter/holiday event.”
