BOONE, IOWA, US — Rolfes@Boone announced on March 4 that Gregg Knox has been named interim company president, effective immediately.
He replaces Kevin Miles, who died at his home in Boone, Iowa, on Feb. 26. Miles had been president of the company since its founding in 1994.
Knox, who started his career at the George A. Rolfes Co. in Boone, brings 50 years of grain industry experience to his new position and has been vice president of Rolfes@Boone since its inception in 1994.
“With the untimely passing of Kevin Miles, Gregg Knox was the natural selection to step into this critical leadership position,” said Rick Howell, special projects coordinator at Rolfes@Boone. “As a key player in our current level of success, Gregg brings the proper skill sets and level of experience to ensure that Rolfes@Boone maintains a leadership role in the grain industry.”
Rolfes@Boone is employee-owned and is a full-line manufacturer of grain temperature detection and hazard detection equipment as well as aeration and dust control systems.
