ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES — VIV MEA has postponed its event from March to Aug. 31-Sept. 2 due to concerns over the coronavirus.
The event was originally planned March 7-9 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The VIV MEA management team said it decided to postpone the event after the World Health Organization changed the risk assessment for the regional and global level from high to very high.
“This decision has been taken after careful consideration and in the interest of all exhibitors and visitors, and above all, to protect the health of all attendees,” VIV MEA said.
UAE remains open for travel and has employed some of the strictest medical and hygiene protocol. However, 75% of exhibitors agreed that postponement of VIV MEA is the best solution.
