CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, U.S. — Agricultural volume for the CME Group in November was down 1% year on year with 1.45 million contracts traded per day, according to CME.
Among the agriculture commodities that saw increased trading year on year were hard red winter wheat futures and options, up 21% to 82,000 average daily contracts.
Soybean futures were up 4% to 171,000 average daily contracts.
For the three-month period ended Nov. 30, agricultural commodities average daily volume fell to 1.29 million, the third consecutive drop for the rolling three-month average.
