CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA — GrainsConnect Canada and GrainCorp launched their online optimization and farm management tool, the GrainsConnect app.
Developed as a free tool, the app has been built to support area growers in their work and allow them to make smarter, more informed decisions when selling their grain.
“Launching the GrainsConnect app to area growers provides even more efficiency to an already streamlined process,” said Warren Stow, president of GrainsConnect Canada. “We know that time is an incredibly valuable asset, and we want to demonstrate our commitment to growers by providing a tool that supports their daily operations.”
The app works to increase efficiency by offering a number of services to growers, including access to timely pricing and specials available in the area. Additionally, the app will provide a platform to manage and administer contracts, track yield and produce real-time scale tickets, and check contract fulfillment between growers and merchants. Providing business information at any time of day and from any location is intended to increase efficiency and help growers to make informed decisions for their business.
“We’re growers, too,” Stow said. “We understand the importance and value of a partner, and we’re proud to integrate the GrainsConnect app into our partnership with area growers to deliver efficiency and speed to the way they work.”
The GrainsConnect app is free for area growers. For more information on the GrainsConnect app or operations, contact Joyce Dorais.
