DECATUR, ILLINOIS, U.S. — Amy McCarthy has joined ADM Animal Nutrition, a division of Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM), as vice-president of pet nutrition.

McCarthy will work to expand ADM’s pet product offerings in ingredients, premixes, pet foods and pet treats as well as increasing ADM’s product development capabilities.

“Amy is an experienced leader in the pet food space, and we are pleased to have her join our team,” said Ryan Lane, president of ADM Animal Nutrition, North America. “With an eye toward strategic business growth, we welcome Amy’s expertise and dedication to being customer-focused.”

McCarthy joins ADM Animal Nutrition with nearly two decades of experience working in the animal health and nutrition field. She received a doctorate degree in animal nutrition from Louisiana State University.

ADM Animal Nutrition provides amino acids, additives, ingredients, tailor-made premix formulations and complete feed for the production animal, aquaculture and companion animal markets.
