KHMILNYK, UKRAINE — Nibulon has completed construction of four of eight silos for its new 4,000-tonne facility to receive, store and to ship grain and oilseeds on railway transport in Khmilnyk, Ukraine.
Rembud Teremky Ltd. installed foundations and piled raft foundations for all units at the construction site. The company is mounting four silos, elevator tower metalware, aerial galleries, hoppers for loading on railway transport, and a shed for the truck scales. They soon will finish installing metalware of the truck tipper with dump pits.
Kyivbudreserv Ltd. has installed modular units for all the administrative and domestic rooms. The builders have installed water supply and sewerage networks as well as fire piping.
A new double-track railway was built to replace the existing railway sections and completely repaired the station track No. 16. The total length of the railway track is about 1,000 m. BULAT Ltd mounted the railway scales.
Platforms for the truck scales are being installed. Soon the foundation will be laid for a water tower. At the same time, Energobudmontazh Ltd is laying electric networks and illumination. The employees are conducting territory improvement, in particular the guard rail assembly, the company said.
Nibulon said it is working to improve cargo transportation logistics. The company aims to reduce traffic load on Ukrainian highways. The new complex is expected to help the company achieve this goal by being able to receive and ship products via railway transport from other Nibulon branches in Vinnytsia region.
