MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, U.S. – Scoular on Sept. 20 announced the addition of Adrian Gasparian as Managing Director of Asia-Pacific to its company’s global management team to drive a faster pace of growth for the business, as well as increased focus and enhanced service for customers in the region.
“Over the past three years, we’ve undertaken significant leadership and strategic changes to build a more agile and integrated Scoular to serve customers’ rapidly evolving needs. Our industry is changing at an unprecedented pace and we are continually evolving to match and lead that pace,” said John Messerich, Senior Vice-President and Division Manager, International Products Division. “This change will help leverage Scoular’s 127-year legacy of trade and logistics expertise to help fuel Scoular’s global growth.”
Gasparian has extensive experience in the Asia-Pacific marketplace, most recently holding a leadership position with the Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) in the region. Gasparian has deep global experience in international trade, having also held management positions in North America and Latin America. With his deep operational background in the industry and region, he is well positioned to lead Scoular’s accelerated growth plan in the Asia-Pacific region, a key market for the company and its customers, the company said.
Based in Singapore, Gasparian will focus initially on building an industry-leading team whose priority will be adding value to customers, Scoular shareholders and the overall industry.
“Scoular is already a leading supplier of food and feed ingredients to the region,” said Gasparian. “Providing additional value-added options to existing and new customers will be a key priority.”
Founded in the heartland of the United States, Scoular is a 127-year old company with 102 offices and facilities worldwide and more than $4 billion in sales. The company provides global and diverse supply chain solutions for end-users and suppliers of grain, feed ingredients, and food ingredients.
