WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S. — Kim Z Cooper has joined the North American Millers’ Association as manager of government affairs.
In her new role, Cooper will work with Dale Nellor, vice-president, government and technical affairs, and other staff members, to develop and implement the group’s public policy agenda. She will focus on interactions with Congress, federal agencies, coalitions, and other advocacy organizations and stakeholders to advance NAMA’s mission.
Cooper comes to NAMA from the National Head Start Association, Alexandria, Virginia, U.S., where she was manager of government affairs and engagement. Before that she was a field organizer and digital lead in Cleveland for the Hillary for America presidential campaign. Before that she was a government affairs associate at Growth Energy, a biofuel trade association.
Cooper is graduate of The George Washington University, Washington, with a degree in international affairs.
