ASSUMPTION, ILLINOIS, U.S. — Grain Systems, Inc. (GSI) will feature GrainViz technology at the 2019 GEAPS Exchange March 9-12 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S. GSI describes GrainViz as “a revolutionary new technology giving users advanced insight into the moisture content of each individual bushel of grain in a steel storage bin.”
GrainViz creates a 3D moisture map, similar to an MRI or CT scan, allowing operators to see the moisture content of each individual bushel of grain and its location within the grain mass. GSI said it helps operators maximize weight, understand inventory and proactively address potential issues before they become a problem.
The GSI booth at GEAPS will include a unique mixed reality demonstration of the technology. Attendees can use iPads to “look inside” a bin and see the moisture content of each bushel and the equipment used to create the scan.
GSI also recently introduced Z-Serie bins with Flexwave Technology, which use inflation liners to gently clean out steel bins at the touch of a button and eliminate the need to enter a bin. A working Z-Series model will be on display at GEAPS Exchange.
