LOVELAND, OHIO, U.S. — Maxi-Tronic, Inc. has introduced DigiMax, a digital hazard monitoring system for materials handling facilities.
DigiMax uses a 1-Wire sensor technology to connect all sensors in a facility using a single CAT5 cable. The DC1 Digital Controller, which is the heart of the system, features a UL/CSA/FM approved, integrated Intrinsically Safe Barrier for sensor installation in Class II, Div. 1 Groups F and G hazardous locations.
DS1 Digital Splitters allow easy connection of bearing, temperature, belt misalignment, motion and other sensors to the DigiMax network. Sensors are automatically detected for fast setup.
The DigiMax can be combined with MaxiTrack software or a MaxiScan 24 controller or PLC for a complete hazard monitoring system. The system is radio compatible for remote monitoring and has Modbus RTU (RS-485) output for PLC connectivity.
DigiMax will be on display at GEAPS, March 9-12 in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S., at the Maxi-Tronic, Inc. booth #2115.
