NEW OXFORD, PENNSYLVANIA, U.S. — Ag Com, Inc. is in the midst of building a new mill in New Oxford, Pennsylvania, U.S., and will be the first U.S. mill to implement Omas’ Leonard Roller Mill.
According to Omas, the Leonard Roller Mill can offer up to 70% energy savings to a milling plant.
The new plant will be working alongside a wooden mill built in the early 20th century that reaches a capacity of 50 TPD. The new system will reach 160 TPD, which can be expanded to 300.
The work on the mill started last April and is scheduled for completion in October 2019.
Omas continues to offer its equipment in the United States in partnership with Bratney Companies.
Ag Com Inc. is a diversified agricultural Pennsylvania-based company. It has a feed mill that custom manufactures natural feed for large animals and the company continues to off load the many feed commodities providing logistical opportunities to its customers. Ag Com’s fertilizer blend plant provides nutrients for corn, wheat and soybean commodities. The company also operates a 20th century wooden flour mill by the Conewago Creek.
